Amsterdam!

Busy day today in Amsterdam! We started off the day by going to the Van Gogh Museum. It was awesome to see all of Van Gogh paintings up close and personal! The museum also had artwork of those who influenced Van Gogh and those who Van Gogh influenced. Then, we decided to rent a paddle boat which we took through the canals. It was cool to see the sites from the canal! We "paddle-boated" over to the Anne Frank House for a tour. The Anne Frank House was one of my favorite things we have done so far on the trip. It was just incredibly fascinating to be in the annex where Anne Frank wrote her diary. We actually walked up into the annex and were able to look around in the very rooms they lived during the war. They also had videos from Anne Frank's father and other people who knew her. Unfortunately, no pictures were allowed :( Anyways, I am really loving Amsterdam and am looking forward to another good day tomorrow!
