From Germany!

Hello from Hamburg, Germany! On Monday morning we flew from Dublin, Ireland to Stockholm, Sweden. Stockholm was really awesome and a lot different from any other European city. The whole city is built around water. It sits between Lake Malaren and the Baltic Sea. The fastest way to see the city is actually by boat...so that is what we did! We took a 2 hour boat tour around 14 islands that make-up Stockholm. Our boat went through 2 locks, one to get into the lake and one when we were leaving the Baltic to get back into the lake. It was nice because most of the people in Sweden speak English...it is required that all students take English in their school system. I am going to post pictures of Stockholm once I download them! So from Sweden we traveled all the way down to Hamburg, Germany. This required 4 trains and a ferry ride. The train actually drove right onto the ferry!! So today we were glad to be walking around a city inside of sitting on a train (although it wasn't too bad b/c we watched about 15 Seinfeld episodes on George's computer). It was actually great timing b/c Hamburg kicked off their annual festival today. We went earlier and we are going back tonight for music, food, etc!

Marie says, "Awsome, and cool. The pictures were pretty, I liked it and it's kinda of big too. The Mars bars look mushy and kind of wonder what they taste like, different taste."
